What’s happening Autumn / Winter 2016

So  I have finally published the calendar of events for the remainder of 2016.
The first regular community sessions will start on Friday 16th September with Chill Skills.
This will run weekly from 6-7pm and is suitable for children aged 7 up. It follows the traditional 7 steps but in a more reflective way and involves more discussion than the regular magical adventures sessions. You will know whether your 7-11yr old will prefer this more “grown up” option!
Starting Saturday 24th September from 10 – 12 I have the first of four family workshops. These will incorporate a traditional Magical Adventures Relax Kids session (aimed at primary ages) into a Be Happy workshop, which will be craft activities based around making relaxation tools such as a calm jar, things like affirmation pebbles or even worry dolls. The idea is that the whole family participates and engages with the 7 steps of the Relax Kids session and then work together to make things they can incorporate into happy family routines. By family this does not have to mean a traditional unit of mum, dad & children, it can be any combination of family (and even good friends) that would routinely spend time together.
These will be held every four weeks subsequent dates are October 22nd, November 19th & December 17th.You can attend all, or just individual ones. They will all be different. The price is £10 per family unit (including refreshments) and places are limited to ensure a nice, cosy atmosphere.
This will be followed on the Sunday from 10-12 with a Grandparents are Great! workshop in honour of nanas and grandas everywhere! Following the same format as the Be Happy Workshops but the focus will be on letting the grandparents know how loved and appreciated they are ahead of National Grandparents Day the following Sunday (which coincides with our National Relax Kids conference!)
The following fortnight I will have a regular Little Stars (3-5) & Magical Adventures (5-11)session. The date for the first one is October 3rd from 10-10.45 and 11-12 respectively. This is £5 per child per session (with a discount for sessions paid in advance and block bookings). Future dates will be 4 weekly as follows: November 5th then December 3rd.

You can do any combination of the above. You can mix family workshops with individual sessions to come every fortnight, try one of each and take it from there or just decide from the start and stick with it!
Currently all sessions are held at Brafferton Village Hall but I am able to carry out 1-2-1 or family sessions at home if you feel that would be more convenient.
